Final concert in park is Saturday

FPS staff report

Minerva’s last free concert in the park for the summer will feature “The Why Not Band” playing classic rock and country Aug. 23 from 7-9 p.m. on the Municipal Park stage.

The concession stand opens at 6:30 p.m. Guests should bring a chair or blanket.

Municipal Park is located on 2nd St., adjacent to Minerva High School, 501 Almeda Ave., Minerva.

In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Minerva High School Auditeria. Concert-goers should enter through the auditeria entrance in the rear of the building and bring their own chairs.

This performance is sponsored by the Village of Minerva and Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce.
