Carolyn Ann (Krepps) Harvey
Carolyn Ann (Krepps) Harvey, 66, of Canton passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Cleveland Clinic following a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma cancer. Surrounded by her immediate family and close friends, her passing was very peaceful and full of love, a true testament to a life well lived.
Born Feb. 27, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Grace Marie (Toalston) Krepps of Salem.
Carolyn graduated from Carrollton High School in 1966. Married to Kenneth Lee Harvey on April 13, 1969, she continued to call Carrollton home for the majority of her life before relocating to Canton several years ago.
Having originally worked at The Free Press Standard, Carolyn ultimately followed her nature as a caregiver and dedicated herself to the care of children. The positive impact she had on many young lives was evident throughout her final days.
A devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Carolyn is survived by her husband, Ken; her son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Gina Harvey of Lincoln, RI; her daughter, Rachel Harvey Lewis and Jim Habuda of Canfield; two granddaughters, Emily Grace and Adriana Marie Lewis; siblings, Marilyn Borland, Donna Barr, Mary Jo Madison, Donnie Krepps, and Ronnie Krepps; nephews, Justin, Jeremy, and Anthony; and extended family, Geoffry and Lauren Martin. Profoundly missed, her loving nature will live on through those closest to her.
Funeral services were held June 10 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton.
