Richard Harrison Ferrell
Richard Harrison Ferrell, 82, of Minerva passed away at Minerva Eldercare March 10, 2010.
Born Oct. 26, 1927, in Louisville, he was the son of the late William H. and Florence (Carroll) Ferrell.
He worked as a Machine Operator at St. Regis Paper Company Canton, was a member of Church of Christ, Minerva, and served in the Army during WW II.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charolet V. (Brown) Ferrell; three sons, Mark H. Ferrell of Levittsburg, Richard D. Ferrell of Minerva and Donald W. (Karin) Ferrell of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Richard John, Joseph Wayne, and Donald Dwayne Ferrell; and a sister, Hattie Ferrell of Canton.
He was preceded in death by an infant son and daughter, and two sisters, Pearl Winter and Ellen Thomas.
The family wishes to thank Minerva Eldercare for their hospitality and great care they gave to Richard during his illness.
Funeral Services were held at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home March 15 with Pastor Marty Martin officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Louisville. Friends unable to attend may register online at www.bartleyfuneralhome.com. |
