Ralph A. Coss

Ralph A. Coss, age 76, of Minerva died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in Minerva Eldercare.
Born Nov. 1, 1937, in Monroe County, he was a son to Harvey and Elizabeth (Mobberly) Coss. 

He retired from the Timken Co. where he was a millwright and was a farmer.  He graduated from East Canton High School in 1957 and was a member of the Canton Church of Christ.
He was a past master of Augusta Lodge #501 F&AM, 32 degree, Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton, Minerva Chapter #123 Royal Arch Masons, Loyalty Council #143 Grand Council R&SM in Carrollton, Carroll Chapter #315 Order of the Eastern Star and Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199.

He is survived by two daughters, Jodine Coss and Marsha (Guy) Dourm both of Minerva; five grandchildren, Blaine (Gina) Toalston of Robertsville, Justin Toalston of Malvern, Dwayne (Amanda) Swonger of Strasburg, Rick (Melinda) Dourm and Jacob Dourm, both of Minerva; and six great grandchildren, Riddick, Rylee, Regan and Bentley Dourm, Trever Swonger, and Mason Carrington.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Anne (Laferty) Coss, who died in 2005; sister, Mary Coss; and two brothers, Robert Coss and Carl Campbell. 

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Allen Moser officiating.  Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens.  Calling hours will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home with Masonic Services at 6:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Masonic Lodge #501 for Special Olympics.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
