Anna Mae Jakubowski

Anna Mae Jakubowski, age 82, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday evening Dec. 11, 2013, in Bowerston Hills Nursing Home.

Born Jan. 7, 1931, in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret Hambach Bryan.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Carrollton.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul Jakubowski; two sons, Eugene Jakubowski of Green, and John (Tonia) Jakubowski of West Mansfield; daughter, Nancy (Brian) Lane of Andover; six grandchildren, Amy (Dennis) Roach, Andrew (Jammi) Clark, Joseph Jakubowski, Lauren Jakubowski, Sarah Lane, Heather (Josh) Morse; nine great grandchildren, two brothers, Paul (Alice) Bryan and Arthur Bryan; five sisters, Mary Bryan, Martha (Tom) Sevek, Lyla (Chal) Thorne, Ruth (Jim) Sevek, and Carl (Sharon) Bryan; sisters-in-law, Katie Bryan and Susie Bryan; and a brother-in-law, Don Goddard.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis and Edward Bryan; and a sister, Dorothy Goddard.

The family thanks everyone at Bowerston Hills for the love and care given to Anna and the family over the last nine months.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 13 from 4-8 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton. A private family Mass will be held.

Anna's family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to either the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org, or Community Hospice, 1040 Trump Rd., Carrollton, OH 44615.
