Mary Hafner
Mary Hafner, age 88, of Alliance and formerly Minerva, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in the Laurels of Canton.
Born Sept. 11, 1923, in East Springfield, OH, she was a daughter to Frank and Mary (Horvatz) McClosky.
She worked for many years at the Southern Inn in Minerva and was a member of New Life Ministries in Louisville.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Douglas (Crystal) Hafner of Alliance, and Michael (Audrey) Hafner of Minerva; adopted daughter, Claudette Richards of Sebring; three sisters, Helen Grady of Bucyrus, and Mildred Willis and Dorothy Alkier, both of California; six brothers, John McClosky of Canonsburg, PA, Tony McClosky of Steubenville, Joe (Florence) McClosky of Carrollton, and Benny (Shirley) McClosky, David (Norma) McClosky and Jimmy McClosky, all of Amsterdam; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hafner, who died in 2000; and a brother, Frank McClosky Jr.
