Rose Mary Robertson

Rose Mary Robertson, age 88, of MalvernRose Mary Robertson, age 88, of Malvern died Sun. March 29, 2009, in Minerva Eldercare.

She was born April 24, 1920 in Oneida to Emory and Vera (Thompson) Pottorf.
She was a wonderful cook and seamstress and after raising her children she went to work for Elsass Dry Goods, The Free Press Standard, Carroll County Elections Board and from 1973-1981 went to work in the Carroll County Court House for the Bureau of Support for Judge Paul Perkins and Judge Tom Richards. She cleaned for Crowl Lumber in Malvern. She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Malvern where she was a member of the Von Borak Guild and was a member of the Fenton Glass Club.

She is survived by daughter, Ruth Ann (John) (Ujcich) Cox of Minerva; a son, David (Jean) Robertson of Waynesburg; a sister, Flora Belle (Don) Snively of Florida; brother, Richard (Alberta) Pottorf of Columbus; sister-in-law, Twila Pottorf of Minerva; two grandchildren, Kim (Patrick) Pence of Columbus and Amy (Jake) Hughes of Waco; four stepgrandchildren, Ed (Jyme) Ujcich, Sherri (Joe) Gatterdam, Pam (Duane) Crum and family and John (Holly) Cox; four great grandchildren, Noah, Corinne, Karli, and Chase and seven step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Robertson in 1989; a sister, Lulu Jean Rinehart and a brother, John Pottorf.

Where your treasure is there your heart be also..Mathew 6:21, Rest Mom.. All of our love is yours forever until we see you again in Heaven. Do not stand at my grave and weep, for I am not there, I did not die.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Wallace Anderson and Rev. Joseph Ertl officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesady 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Martin's Lutheran Church or the Tri-County Habitat for Humanity. The family would like to thank the staff at Minerva Eldercare for all their wonderful care.
