Pamela I. Wilson Rininger
Pamela I. Wilson Rininger, age 40, of Carrollton, was called home Sept. 9, 2013, by her Heavenly Father, after fighting a short battle with cancer.
Pamela is survived by her husband, Darrell, of 19 years; a son, Taylor, 17; and a daughter, Kaitlin, 14, all of the home; a stepdaughter, Toni Hall Rininger (boyfriend Tim Smith) and two grandchildren, Logan and Zakk, all of North Carolina; her mother, Shirley Wilson and a sister, Sue Wilson, both of Carrollton; and a brother, Kenneth Wilson Jr. (life partner Bradley Spencer) of Lakewood.
Pamela graduated from Carrollton High School in 1992. She graduated from Stark State in 2008, with honors, in Certified Medical Assisting and was enrolled in the RN program at Kent State - New Philadelphia prior to being diagnosed with cancer. She volunteered most of her time helping with her children's school activities and enjoyed cooking and baking.
Pamela was appreciative of the Hot Hens teen Bible Study and their families, and the community and local businesses for their generous donations for the benefit in May. A special thank you goes to her support group; the medical staff at Cleveland Clinic, Alliance Visiting Nurses/Hospice, Girl Scout Troop 60331, Sherry Johnson, Mikki Timberlake, Jamie Winters, Jen Minor, Danene Carlisle, Danielle Snider, and Darcy Bolanz.
Calling hours will be Thursday Sept. 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home in Carrollton. In keeping with Pamela's wishes, cremation will follow.
