Roger Dale Pugh

Roger Dale Pugh, 57, of Carrollton, passed away at his residence Thursday, May 6, 2010.

Born Aug. 31, 1952, in Martins Ferry, he was a son of Warren Samuel and Evelyn Mae (Headley) Pugh.

He was a member of Carrollton Baptist Temple and enjoyed bowling, fishing and stock car racing.

He is survived by his wife, the former Sandra Kaye Strawder, whom he married Sept. 8, 1972; a daughter, Evelyn Mae Pugh (Davin) Millhouse of Mechanicstown; two stepsons, Jerry Bourquin of Carrollton and Robert Bourquin of Steubenville; a step daughter, Treasea (Rory) McLean of Carrollton; two brothers, Frank (Linda) Pugh of Tampa Bay, FL, and Will (Dottie) Pugh of Robertsville; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Pugh on Nov. 5, 2000.

Funeral services were held May 11 in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home with Brother David Powell officiating.  Burial was in Perrysville Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Roger Pugh may be made to the family to help defray expenses.
