Bryce Skidmore, 9, of Alliance, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013.
He was born April 25, 2004, and lived in Alliance all of his life.
Bryce was a 4th grade student at Rockhill Elementary School. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and Christ United Methodist Church where he sang with the Cherub Choir.
Bryce loved to sing and was taking piano lessons. He also enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his friends at Rockhill. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Joan (Waggenspack) Skidmore; a brother, Nicholas; his grandparents, Denzil and Wilma (Brown) Skidmore; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent and Virginia Waggenspack; and his great-grandmother, Helen Brown.
The family will receive friends at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home Thursday, Oct. 17from 5 - 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Joseph Catholic Church Oct. 18 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Matthew M. Mankowski, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Rev. Stephanie Lee, Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Harlem Springs Cemetery, Harlem Springs, Ohio.
