Jenny Lu Dye
Jenny Lu Dye, age 65, of Montgomery, AL, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009.
Born Nov. 24, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Oakie and Ada Nichols.
In addition to raising her three children, Jenny owned and operated Genie Housecleaning Service, Marietta, GA; worked for Simco Management, Kent; was a caregiver for patients suffering from Alzheimers and a nanny with Kadan Home Healthcare, Dunwoody, GA. Additionally she worked for Aultman Hospital, Canton and most recently returned to personal childcare in Montgomery.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Amy Dye, Sharpsburg, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Mark Phillips, Jefferson, GA; and son Greg Dye, Stevens Point, WI; her much loved grandchildren, Liza and Dustin Dye and Connor and Jordan Phillips; brothers and sister-in-laws, Jerry and Alberta Nichols, Carrollton, and Jack and Barbara Nichols, Robertsville; sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Clyde Campbell, Carrollton, and numerous nieces and nephews of whom she was very proud.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Nichols.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 23 at 11 a.m. at Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home in Carrollton. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, May 21 from 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service.
