Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor:
On behalf of the organizing committee of the Country Energy Fest, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who came out to make the event a success. The weather was perfect, there was plenty of outstanding food and the day was capped off with a terrific concert by Dustin Lynch.

Part of the event’s success is due in part to the event sponsors. Thank you GPS Outfitters (Oil & Gas Safety Store), Carroll Electric Cooperative, Rex Energy, Razor Rents, OOGEEP, Performance Technology, Gateway Royalty, Aultman Carrollton, 99.9FM WTUZ, K105.1, Farm & Dairy, The Free Press Standard, the Ashton House & Museum, Ashton’s 5 & 10 Cent store, Diamond T Fencing, Consumers National Bank, Tom’s Roll Off Services, Aarons’ Rental, Kuttier Machine, Fusion Ceramics, Tinlin’s Print-On Things and Crowl Lumber Co. for sponsoring the event.

Finally, I would like to thank all of the volunteers who gave so graciously of their time to help plan, set-up, run, tear down and clean up the event. In particular, I would like to thank the Country Energy Fest Committee members. Yvonne Ackerman, Amy Rutledge, Margaret Mesler, Ellen Rhome, Jenni Lucas, Ray and Rhonda Rummell, Kevin Host and Vera Fox. They are all volunteers and put in many, many hours to plan this year’s event. Without them, the Country Energy Fest would not have been possible.
We hope everyone who attended enjoyed themselves and we hope to see you next year.

Wes Frew
Country Energy Fest Committee Chair
