To the Editor:
Word was received from National Day of Prayer headquarters that this year’s May observance was the largest ever in the history of our great country. Our Carroll County NDP Task Force certainly appreciates and thanks all of you in our area who participated and in that count.

We also learned the “Pray for America Bus Tour” has traveled to communities and churches all over the nation encouraging people to remain in constant, fervent prayer.

Those traveling with the NDP’s tour bus have served in soup kitchens, witnessed in front of courthouses and led more than 93 persons to the Lord, in addition to mobilizing thousands to intercede for our country. In these travels, families have been reunited, youth coming to know the Lord Jesus as Savior, addicts falling to the ground in forgiveness and even church leaders reenergized to continue serving on front lines.

This project, according to John Bornschein, NDP vice chair of Colorado Springs, has been one of the most impactful mission efforts ever undertaken by the NDP’s Task Force. Due to the generous support of so many, a great difference has been made for generations to come.

If you are hearing about this “Pray for America Bus Tour,” please take a moment to read the latest updates at www.commit2pray.com, Some 1,920,213 have followed closely online as the bus has traveled more than 5,400 miles to 46 cities and ministered directly to more than 16,940.

Blessings and thanks to all who are supporting this great project in any way. Thanks for all the prayers and support our county task force has had to our May observance.
