To the Editor:
Some people wish it will happen, some people wait for it to happen, but 4-H people make it happen and so do Carroll County 4-H supporters. The Carroll County 4-H Advisory Committee would like to extend our deepest appreciation to those individuals who braved a snowy evening Dec. 14 to attend our annual dinner and benefit auction. In addition to college scholarships for outstanding local 4-H members, funds raised during the event support county youth so they may experience unmatched educational experiences by participating in hands-on projects, club meetings and activities as well as various community service projects.
The success of an event like this is not possible without the support of many generous individuals and businesses: Ashton’s 5&10; Jimmy’s Backyard BBQ, Spread Eagle Tavern, Minerva Grinders Above and Beyond, Manfull Orchards, Gardner Family Trust, Wendy’s, Patty’s Place, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Mahoning Valley Scrappers, Gordon’s Furniture, Russ Kiko/Kiko Auctioneers, Fusion Ceramics, Berg & Birong DDS, LLC, Mo’s Pizza, Canton Symphony Orchestra, Kiko Meats, Pittsburgh Zoo, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Carnegie Museums of Art and History, Laser Quest, Radio Shack, PBS Animal Health, Soggy Bottom Outdoors, Pizza Hut, Robin and Roger Brooks Crowl Interiors and Furniture, Dowell Dental Group, Minerva Veterinary Clinic, Bruce Downes, Floyd Craft, Beck and Aaron Stoller, Carroll County Park District/Bluebird Farm, Carroll Country Flowers, New Creation Family Hair Care, Kishman’s IGA, Natural Approach Farm Store, LeBeau Construction, Cedar Outdoor Furniture, Minerva Dairy, Tropical Paradise Pet Shop, Northwindridge LLC, Advance Auto Parts, Consumer’s National Bank, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Lake Erie Monsters, Ellen Rhome, Emma Russell, Jennifer Cramer, Heather Hawk, Margie Herrington, Old Crow, Joseph and Rose Seck, Sam Plott, Joe Phillis, Bill McDole, Kevin Swope, Roxie Graham, Timothy Patterson, Elaine Painting, Joe Barber, Dalton and Devan Ulman, Tom and Nancy Wheaton, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Ohler and Deb Ruehs.
