CHS art students winners in AAA Traffic Safety Poster contest

FPS staff report

In our SchoolsTwo Carrollton High School art students of Mrs. Jackie Pozderac were among those honored at a special ceremony April 5 at the Columbus Crew Stadium for being winners in the 70th annual AAA Traffic Safety Poster program.

Austin Keefer and Casey Herndon are shown in the above photo holding their prize winning hand drawn posters and award certificates. Austin placed second and received $75 while Casey was the grand prize winner and the recipient of $200.

Both juniors at CHS, Austin is a son of Mandy Myers and Mike Keefer, both of Carrollton, and Casey is a daughter of Cheryl Herndon, also of Carrollton. They were accompanied to the awards ceremony by Mrs. Pozderac.
