The Carrollton Lady Warrior girls track team continued its solid season last Tuesday with a 66.5-61.5 win at Canton South.
Carrollton was to end its dual meet season Tuesday at home against Louisville. They will take part in the Northeastern Buckeye Conference meet Friday at Salem.
Placing first for the Warriors were April Sisk in the shot put and discus with throws of 37’4” and 135’6”, which broke her own school record.
Kelsey Cogan won the 1,600 and 800-meter runs with times of 6:04 and 2:34.7.
Cogan was also part of the winning 3,200-meter relay team of Lindsey Schandel, Taylar Bennett and Kailey Kennedy that finished with a time of 11:14.
Also placing first were Jordan Schlabach in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.74; Stephanie Donley in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.3, Addie Davis in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 14:31 and the 1,600-meter relay team of Monica Starre, Naomi Young, Schandel and Donley with a time of 4:27.
Placing second were Chelsea Williams in the shot with a throw of 34’4”, Young in the 300 hurdles with a time of 51.45, Schandel in the 800 with a time of 2:38, Donley in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.39 and Cogan in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 14:32.
Placing third were Abbey Wilson in the shot with a throw of 33’1”, Williams in the discus with a throw of 100’4”, Young in the high jump with a jump of 4’6”, Donley in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.96, Schyler in the 1,600 with a time of 6:16, Starre in the 400 with a time of 1:08 and Bennett in the 800 with a time of 2:40. |
