Nov. 18 - The Carroll County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. in the library at 24 Second St., NE, Carrollton. The public is welcome to attend.

Nov. 20 - Third Thursday Art for Everyone is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Carroll County Arts Center. Barb Manning will teach “Gift Bag Painting”.  This is set up for adults only. All supplies are provided for a fee of $10. For an additional $5, Barb will supply three brushes each person can keep. Class maximum is 8 but a minimum of 6 is needed. Nov. 21 - Workforce Investment Area 16 Workforce Investment Board quarterly meeting at 10 a.m. at Belmont College Harrison County Center, Sally Buffalo Park, Cadiz.

Nov. 22 - Loudon Twp. Community Center annual Pie Sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until sold out) at Dollar General Market on Canton Rd., Carrollton. Nov. 23 - Keith Barnett will perform at 3 p.m. at the Carroll County Arts Center in a benefit concert for the Performing Arts program. He is a well-known guitarist-vocalist and a former Arts Board member.

Nov. 29 - 46th annual Jewett VFD Craft Show 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 80 tables of primitives, unique items, food. $2 admission to both buildings. Fire Dept., 208 W. Main St. and Wildcat Community Center, 117 W. Main St., Jewett.

Dec.  3 - Carroll County Board of Elections meeting at 11:30 a.m. in the office in the courthouse.

Dec. 9 - The Carroll County Arts Center annual meeting and election of officers at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. New memberships will be available prior to the meeting. All existing members are encouraged to attend and vote.

The meeting is open to the public but RSVP is requested by calling 330-627-3739. Carroll County Arts Center is located at 204 W. Main St., Carrollton.

Nov. 20 - Free community Thanksgiving dinner at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 301 W. Main St., Malvern, from 5-6:30 p.m.  Free to all. All are welcome.
