ACTIVITIES
April 23 - AAA Region 9 Board of Trustees meeting at 1 p.m. at the AAA9 office, 1730 Southgate Parkway, Cambridge.

April 24 - Carroll County Board of Elections will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. for the purpose of rover training and any other necessary business.

April 25 - 6th annual Great Divide Ruritan Flea Market & Crafts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fox Twp. Fireman’s Park. Tables are $6. Vendors wishing to participate can call 330-738-2805.

April 25 - Aultman’s Working on Wellness (WOW) program will be at Dollar General Market, 1305 Canton Rd., Carrollton, from 10 a.m. to noon. Free health consultations, screenings, more. Info, call 330-363-3883.

April 25 - Spring Craft & Vendor Show 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Carrollton High School cafeteria. Admission is $1 for adults or one canned food item for a local food pantry. Sponsored by Carrollton Assembly of God Church.

April 26 - Roast Beef Dinner in Scio Fire Hall, 318 W. Main St., beginning at 11 a.m. All-You-Can-Eat-$10-adults, $5-under age 10. Benefits Scio VFD.

April 27 - Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is seeking volunteers. Anyone interested should attend the meeting at 6 p.m. at Church of Christ (Christian Disciples), 353 Moody Ave., Carrollton.  Call the church at 330-627-4451 for directions. April 29 - Aultman Bloodmobile at Leesville Faith Chapel, 145 S. Union St., Leesville, from 3-7 p.m. Bring proper ID.

May 2 - Sherrodsville Lions Club Benefit Breakfast from 7-10:30 a.m. by donation. Includes eggs, bacon, toast, sausage gravy and biscuits, French toast, coffee, juice and milk. Benefits the club’s endeavor to continue assisting with eye exams, glasses and other eye related issues.

May 2 - All You Can Eat Breakfast from 8-11 a.m. at Loudon Twp. Community Center on SR 9 in Kilgore. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for ages 4-11. Carryout available. Each purchase will result in a chance to win a free breakfast. Call Donna at 330-739-4193 or Judy at 330-323-5610.

May 3 - The Steel Drum Band from Carrollton High School in concert at Carrollton Bible Chapel, 365 Stebuenville Rd., Carrollton, at 6:30 p.m. Jay Stoneman and Samuel Atkinson will perform a program playing four-handed piano. Two food items are requested for Loaves and Fishes. A love offering will be taken. Concert is sponsored by the OAKS organization of the church.

May 4 - Zumba Workout at Harsh Memorial United Methodist Church in Harlem Springs at 6 p.m. every Monday.

May 6 - Zumba Workout at Kilgore United Methodist Church on Germano Rd., Kilgore, at 6 p.m. every Wednesday.

VETERANS
May 2 - Steak Fry and Bake Sale from 5-8 p.m. at Carrollton VFW, 2291 Chase Rd., Carrollton. Cost is $15 each or 2 for $28. Entertainment by Old Geezers from 8-11 p.m. Open to the public.
