Sept. 13 - Make & Take It Saturday at Ashton’s 5&10 Store from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make a birthday card. The event is free to all ages.

Sept. 14 - Meatloaf and Baked Steak Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jewett Volunteer Fire Dept. Includes vegetables, salad, bread, dessert & beverage. Adults $8, Children $4.

Sept. 14 - Fox Twp. 20th annual All Schools Reunion at Fireman’s Park. Doors open at 11 a.m., meal at 1 p.m. Bring a covered dish and pictures or memorabilia to share. Table service and drinks provided.

Sept. 14 -  A show/reception for Carroll County Arts featured artists for September Therese Cook and her daughter, Laurel Ehret will be held from 1-3 p.m. in the Carroll County Arts Center, 204 W. Main St., Carrollton. Therese does encaustic painting with beeswax and Laurel does encaustic photography with wax. Their work will be on display through the third week in October. Admission is free and open to the public.

Sept. 15 - The Committee of Citizens for a Better Minerva will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Minerva City Hall.

Sept. 15 - Huff Run Watershed children’s nature/outdoor engagement & environmental education program from 4-6 p.m. at Mineral City Community Garden (Nicole Donant Library if inclement weather). Program geared toward ages 6-12. For info, call 330-859-1050.

Sept. 20 - The Carroll County Humane Society Rabies Vaccination Clinic  from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Carroll County Fairgrounds on SR 9. Each shot is $7. All areas are welcome. Sept. 20 - Leesville Lake Property Owners Association monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Election of new officers will take place.

Sept. 20 - Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church will host its 27th annual Mission Festival in the fellowship hall. Homemade sandwiches and pie will be available at a food stand beginning at 5 p.m.  An auction will begin at 6 p.m. with inflated bidding to support a variety of mission projects.  The public is invited.  The church is located at 89 Canyon Rd. SW, Carrollton.

SENIOR CENTER
Sept. 13 - Swiss Steak Dinner at Minerva Senior Center, 1220 Valley St., from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Adults $12, children ageg 3-12 $6, under age 3 free. For tickets & to RSVP by Sept. 12, call 330-868-6004. Proceeds go toward senior center operating expenses.
