June 17 - Rabies Clinic at Malvern Park from 5:30-7 p.m. Cost is $7 per shot. All animals must be caged or leashed. Owners are asked to clean-up after their pets to ensure future use of the facilities.
June 19 - Carroll County Retired Teachers luncheon and meeting at noon at Carrollton Bible Chapel, 365 Steubenville Rd., Carrollton.

June 20 - Carroll County Animal Protection League Hot Dog Stand at Dollar General Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bake sale, t-shirts, more. Proceeds benefit no-kill animal shelter construction fund.
June 20 - Helen Skinner is hosting a wax-resist painting class for 6-8 graders at the Carroll County Arts Center beginning at 10 a.m. This is a totally different age group because of the painting project and is not age appropriate for any younger students. The fee $5 can be paid the morning of the class. Pre-registration is required by calling 330-627-3739.
