Carol F. Davenport, 76, of Toronto, formerly of the Hopedale area passed away Tuesday March 16, 2010 in the Laurels of Steubenville. She was born March 4, 1934 in Unionport, a daughter of the late Ralph and Stella Burchfield Greer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Garnett Davenport in 1988 and by her daughter Verna Angel in 1989 and her brother Donald Greer. 
Friends and family may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Smithfield Funeral Home of J. E. Foster, 107 Hill St. Smithfield, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor Bob James will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery near Hopedale.
