Mary A. Young, 85, of Mingo Junction, Ohio passed away Sunday July 11, 2010 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born January 5, 1025 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a daughter of the late Dominic and Maria Diorio Falcone Sauro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Young on August 31, 1970; two brothers, Nicholas Falcone and Daniel J. “Brownie” Falcone; and a sister, Rose Lint.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo. On Wednesday Mary will lay in state from 10 a.m. until time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, celebrant. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Mingo. There will be a vigil service on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. A full obituary will appear in the next issue of the Harrison News-Herald.
