Emma Viola Wilson, 93, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Beacon Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Uhrichsville, after a period of declining health. Born December 10, 1916 in Canton, O., she was a daughter of the late Christian C. and Mamie (Nicholson) Long.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Gatchell and Naomi Blackwell; two brothers, James David Long and Russell H. Long; a daughter-in-law, Wendy Wilson; a niece, Viola Boone; and a nephew, Russell Jr. Blackwell.
Services for Emma, officiated by Rev. Bob James, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
