Harry Willard Tipton, age 85, of 34320 Belmont Ridge Road, Piedmont, Ohio died at 6:16 a.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010 in Wyant Woods Care Center, Akron.
Born July 13, 1925 on Belmont Ridge, Belmont County, Ohio, he was a son of the late Harry Melvin Tipton and Bessie Isabelle VanFossen Tipton.
He was preceded in death by four siblings.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, in Koch Funeral Home, 216 South High Street, Freeport with Pastor Jim Walter officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing Township, Belmont County, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
