Maureena Jo Phillips, 42, Freeport died unexpectedly around 6:30 p.m. at home on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 from an apparent brain aneurism.
Born in Bellaire, Belmont County, on Feb. 20, 1968, she was a daughter of Mick and Phyllis Phillips of Flushing.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Dreyer on Sept. 16, 1998 and her paternal grandfather, Homer Phillips and maternal grandparents, Harry and Mary Kinney.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 South High Street, Freeport with Pastor Bob Merritt officiating. Military services and burial will follow in Moorefield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A full obituary will appear in the next issue of the Harrison News-Herald.
