Major Ralph Pietrangelo (Army Air Corps) of Gulfport, formerly of Long Beach, died Sept. 27, 2010 in Biloxi. He was born Jan. 25, 1917 in Rhodesdale, Ohio.
He was drafted Dec. 17, 1940 at the age of 23 and commissioned in 1942.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Merie Pietrangelo; brother, Albert; sister, Mary Pietrangelo and his wife Gerry.
Service will be held Sept. 30, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Long Beach City Cemetery. A full obituary will appear in the next edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
