Agnes D. Carrothers, age 81, of 120 N. Union Street, Leesville, died suddenly in her home Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010. She was born Jan. 28, 1929 in Bellaire, and was the daughter of the late Bruzelia G. and Genevieve Marie Black Jaquay.
In accordance with Agnes’ wishes, no calling hours will be held but a private family visitation will be observed. A public graveside service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 in the Leesville Cemetery with the Rev. Jerralyn Myers officiating.
The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville, is handling the arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Leesville United Methodist Church, c/o Mrs. Alice Tope, Treasurer 1305 Melrose Circle N.E., Bolivar, Ohio 44612.
