G. Paul Blackburn, 91, Cadiz, died Christmas day, Dec. 5, 2010 losing a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born Mar. 1, 1919 in Bloomingdale, one of several children of the late George and Maude Parks Blackburn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Ralph, Wilbur, Raymond, Wayne and Doyle Blackburn and sister Sarah Carman.
Visitation will be held Dec. 28, 2010 at Blackburn Funeral Home with services there on Dec. 29 with the Rev. R.J. Leek officiating. Burial in Cadiz Union Cemetery. The Hopedale American Legion will present honors. A full obituary will appear in the next print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
