Laila Camille Lewis, daughter of Camara and Nicole Hovanick Lewis of Scio, celebrated her first birthday Thursday, Dec. 30 then passed into the Lord’s loving arms Friday, Dec. 31, 2010 at her home. She was born in Wheeling, W.Va. and baptized at Smithfield A.M.E. Church.
She was preceded in death by an uncle Damon Hovanick.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2011 in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Monsignor John Kolesar officiating. Burial followed in Hanover Methodist Cemetery, Scio. A full obituary will appear in the next print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
