Vera Rose Pringle age 86 of Leesville, a resident of Sunnyslope Nursing Home in Bowerston for past two years, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 in Twin City Hospital, Dennison.
Born November 8, 1924 in Uniontown (Belmont Co.) she was a daughter of the late Ray C. and Bertha Mae Smith Carr.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar “Os” Pringle, longtime companion Harold “Pete” Huff, brothers Charles and Virgil Carr and sister Leona Arbogast Bower.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Rev. Fred Battles officiating. Burial will follow in Leesville Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a local Humane Society.
