Erma I. Shultz, 90, of Dover, formerly a longtime resident of Bowerston, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Born Sept. 20, 1920 in Hopedale, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary M. (Valdinger) Nagy. She was married to Herman E. Shultz on Aug. 14, 1948 and enjoyed over 61 years of marriage with him until his passing on Dec. 12, 2009.

The last of her family’s generation, Erma was preceded in death by six brothers, John, Vince, Al, Steve, Ernie, and Eugene (her twin) Nagy, and a sister, Mary McEachan, in addition to her parents and husband.

Services officiated by Rev. Chester Rupert and Pastor Tim Womack, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow in Bowerston’s Longview Cemetery beside her beloved husband. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
