Frederick Leslie Dickinson, 96, of Dover, formerly of Cadiz, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness. He was born Nov. 5, 1915, a son of the late George and Ora Barker Dickinson and was born in Osage, West Virginia.
On Oct. 12, 1938 he married his high school sweetheart, Anna Mae Laughrige in the parsonage of 1st Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by a sister Ethel Lisle of New Philadelphia; and a son and daughter-in-law James and Rosalee Dickinson of Canton.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011 from Noon until time of service at 1 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz with Paul Giffin officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Community Hospice, 201 West Third Street, Dover, Ohio 44622.
