Christopher E. Bente, 49, of Scio, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Aultman Hospital in 
Canton, Ohio, after a period of declining health. Born June 5, 1961 in Wheeling, W. Va., he was a son of Janet (Johnston) Bente of Scio and the late Delvert E. “Deb” Bente.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Frances and Harriett Bente and Bea and Roy Baker.
Family and friends are invited to call at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 13. A private family service, officiated by Rev. Dan Betts, is planned with interment following in Beaver Valley Cemetery near Scio. Those wishing to honor Chris’ memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to help support the medical expenses for Cooper Schaar (age 7), in care of his grandfather, Keith Schaar, P.O.
