Frances V. Kimmel, 85, of Jewett died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover where she had resided for just the past 5 months.
Born Nov. 9, 1925 on the Arbaugh family farm outside Jewett she was a daughter of the late Ira and Emma Arbaugh. She married Dwight Kimmel in the home he built for them in 1949.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dwight, son Brian; brothers Charles Edwin Arbaugh and Dean Arbaugh and a sister Evelyn Stewart.
Services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 1 p.m. in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with the Rev. Karen Heyburn officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Gardens Cemetery, Jewett. Friends may call Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
