Elizabeth A. Mistak, 88, loving wife and mother, died Thursday Feb. 24, 2011, in Harrison Community Hospital. She was born in Flushing, on July 15, 1922, a daughter of the late John and Anna Truty Shipta.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Mistak; brothers: Frank, John, Stanley and Joseph Shipta; and a son Stanley Mistak.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday Feb. 28, 2011 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Flushing, with the Reverend Fred Kihm as celebrant. Interment followed at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing. Borkoski Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
