Leslie Wayne Blankenship, 61, of Cadiz, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Valley Hospice Care Center, North in Steubenville. He was born April 30, 1949 in Dennison, Ohio, a son of the late Paul Camden and Nora Kathleen Lucas Blankenship. Wayne lived his young years in Jewett, Ohio and surrounding area.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Leslie Camden Blankenship and a sister, Mary Ann Sowers.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, with Rev. Tom Bullard officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Jewett. A full obituary will appear in the next print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
