Gladys I. White, 92, of Deersville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at New Dawn Health Care and Retirement Center in Dover, Ohio after a period of declining health. Born December 3, 1918 in Warnock, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Roxy (Warnock) Baumberger.

On April 10, 1937, Gladys married Woodrow Wilson White with whom she enjoyed over fifty-eight years of marriage until his passing on October 25, 1996.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Marie) Fry; a grandson, Roy Ferguson, Jr.; a sister, Mary Loy; and five brothers, Howard “Dutch”, Bill, Bobby, Earl Ray, and Charles Baumberger.

Services for Gladys, officiated by Rev. Douglas Mallernee, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband in Deersville’s Patterson Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday.
