Together again
Jerall Lee “Jerry” Jones, Sr., 68, of Dover, Ohio, passed away at Beacon Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Uhrichsville, Ohio on Monday, April 18, 2011 after a sudden illness. Born June 14, 1942 in Chicago, Ill., he was a son of the late Louie and Luna (Ferguson) Jones.
On October 9, 1963, he married the former Joan Theresa Hunt with whom he enjoyed over forty-five years of marriage until her passing on January 22, 2009.
The last of his generation, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Everett Jones, and two sisters, Barb Klisnick and Phyllis Paris, in addition to his parents and wife.
In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, he has been cremated without a public visitation or service. He will be interred with his parents and siblings in Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Inc., 26 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621-1269, to help defray the cost of his final expenses. A full obituary will appear in the next print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
