Eileen N. Vorhees, 87, of Hopedale, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. She was born Feb. 23, 1924 in Fernwood, Ohio, a daughter of the late David and Nellie Carpenter Dickey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vorhees in 2002 and a sister Gladys Mattern Reppart.
Friends may call Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. RJ Leek officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery near Hopedale. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrison Community Hospital Foundation, 951 E. Market St., Cadiz, OH 43907.
