Eugene G. “Doby” Mihalco, age 81, of Jewett died Tuesday May 3, 2011 in Valley Hospice Care Center, Steubenville. Born December 20, 1929 in Green Twp., Harrison Co. he was a son of the late Mike and Irene Bertz Mihalco.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Chalfant Mihalco on Oct. 20, 1996.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Rev. Mark Statler officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Gardens, Jewett. Friends may call Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A full obituary will appear in the next print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
