Irijeanne M. Brown, age 84, of Gnadenhutten, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Aultman Hospital, Canton, following a brief illness.
Born May 3, 1927, at Jewett, she was the daughter of the late Gerald A. and Ruth (Carman) Wilson. She graduated from Jewett High School in 1945.
In addition to her parents, two sisters Janet Horn, Garland O’Bradovich, Gloria Busby; two brothers Gerald “Snuffy” Wilson and James Wilson; brother-in-laws Lawrence Myers and Dean Myers, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the John Heckewelder Moravian Church, with the Rev. Darrell Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Gnadenhutten Clay Union Cemetery at Gnadenhutten. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at the church and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
