Harry Reed Heavilin, 84, died Thursday, June 16, 2011 at his Route 250 home in Cadiz. He was born October 15, 1926, the only son of the late Harry A. and Wilma Auld Heavilin. He had always lived in the Harrison County area, where as a child was reared on the family farm and continued to raise his family there.

Harry married Helen Poulson, who survives, on Christmas Day 1948.

Their only son Butch in 2007 and one sister, Mary Jean Baker, preceded him in death.

Harry Heavilin was an icon in Harrison County. He always was proud of his family, his farm animals, his tractor collection, and his community.

Friends may call Sunday, June 19 from 1-6 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley and Rev.
