David L. Mace, 61, of Freeport died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Jan. 15, 1950 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Cleo Mace and Irma Pauline Huston Mace. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by a brother, Larry Mace; and a sister, Eleanor Toland.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 South High Street, Freeport with Pastor Dave Koch and Pastor Jim McConnell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmont Union Cemetery, Freeport. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
