Esther G. Love, 87, of New Athens, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Liza’s Place in Wheeling. She was born Oct. 11, 1923 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late William and Nellie Heavilin Given.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert M. Love, whom she married Oct. 30, 1943; and by an infant sister Adah Jane, her older brother Frank Given and her younger brother William D. Given.
Friends may call Saturday, July 2, from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at the New Athens Presbyterian Church. Rev. Jack Visser will officiate. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery, New Athens.
