Michael William “Mike” Trokel, age 65, of Byesville died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011 in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia. Born May 2, 1946 in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Anthony “Tony” Trokel who died Oct. 6, 2003 and Helen Garnett Johnson Trokel who died Nov. 11, 2008.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Ellen Trokel.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 2, for one hour prior to the service (noon to 1 p.m.) in Koch Funeral Home, 216 South High Street, Freeport. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing Township, Belmont County, Ohio.
