Luella “Adeline” Dunfee, 80, of Bowerston, passed away on Monday Nov. 14, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at Bowerston Pointe Nursing Home. A daughter of the late John Boston McPeak and Maude Frances (Crosier) McPeak, she was born on June 2, 1931 near Stillwater.
She was married to Raymond Eugene Dunfee who preceded her in death on Sept.26, 1980. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Alfred McPeak; a half-brother, Raymond McPeak; and a half-sister, Erma McPeak; as well as her parents.
Services officiated by Pastor Milo Baker will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Interment will follow in Bowerston’s Longview Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Crossroads Hospice.
