Donald L. Moore, age 91, of Louisville, formerly of Scio, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012 in Altercare of Louisville Nursing Home after suffering with Parkinson Disease for several years.
Born April 23, 1920 in Centerville he was a son of the late James and Grace Wise Moore.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Ruth S. Moore on Oct. 10, 2005.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 at noon in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with the Rev. Henry Mooney officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a Mason Service being held at 11:45 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Scio United Methodist Church, P.O.
