John W. Gillespie, Ph.D, 62, Newark, Delaware, formerly of Cadiz, passed away on Dec. 25, 2011 from lymphoma. He was born on Nov. 19, 1949 in Martins Ferry and was the son of the late Lucille and John “Sheeny” Gillespie. He was preceded in death by his sister Agnes.
He was a 1968 graduate of Cadiz High School.
At his request funeral and other arrangements are private.
