Xerxa Murlene Fair, age 79, of 34439 McFadden Road, Freeport died Monday, April 16, 2012 in Beacon Pointe Rehab Center, Uhrichsville. Born April 7, 1933 in Londonderry Township, she was a daughter of the late Marion Dewey Baumgardner and Lora Opal Hardy Baumgardner.
Her husband, Robert Vernon Fair died Oct. 10, 2009. They were married Oct. 28, 1952. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sons: James Harrison Fair in 1979, Robert Bruce Fair in 2010, and Scotty Vernon Fair in 2011; and two brothers, Earl Raymond Baumgardner and William Joseph Baumgardner.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19 in Koch Funeral Home, Freeport with Pastor Jim McConnell officiating. Burial will follow in Guernsey County Memory Gardens in Cambridge. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 18, from 4 to 8 p.m.
