Darrell “Bud” Hervey passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale at the age of 88. Bud was born May 7, 1924 in Bloomingdale, in the same house he resided in until his death. He was the son of Stanton and Marie (Frazier) Hervey. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Virginia (Smith) Hervey, and a sister Janet (Hervey) Boyd.
Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 18,2 012 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Hubert Granger and Rev. R. J. Leek officiating. Burial at Bloomingdale Cemetery where Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad will perform military honors.
