Alert W. Nowjack, 96, of Cadiz, died peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 18, 1916 in Cleveland, the son of the late Richard and Wanda Dickheiser Nowjack.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by his wife Margaret Jane McDonald Nowjack and by his sister Ella Rose.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22 from 10-11 a.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. R.J. Leek officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 133 Lovers Lane, Wintersville, Ohio 43953.
