Roger M. Solvey, 60, of Cadiz, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born Feb. 19, 1953 in Canton, a son of the late Mike Solvey, Jr. and Ruth Anne Huston Solvey Thompson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Howard “Pete” Thompson; a sister, Cheryl Solvey; and two brothers, Howard “Butch” Thompson, II and Richard Solvey.
Friends may call Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013 4-8 p.m. and Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. with Evangelist Robert Main officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale. Military honors will be performed by the Weirton Marine Corps Club.
