Lois Jane Brown, 85, of Cadiz died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. She was born March 9, 1928 in Adena, Ohio a daughter of the late John Charles and Caroline Fitzgerald Sargent, Sr.
She was preceded in addition to her parents, by her husband Harry J. “Jack” Brown; a son, Jeff Merkel; a sister, Grace and a brother, John, Jr.
In keeping with her wishes a private service will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. R.J. Leek officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Arrangements by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, 154 West Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907.
